Simply purchase the "One year updates and services" 2 or 3 times. During the order process, add the item to the cart 2 or 3 times by entering "2" or "3" under "Qty." and then click "Update" to refresh the cart.
You will then receive 2 or 3 activation codes. Entering each code extends your updates and services by one additional year – totaling 2 or 3 years respectively.
With the purchase of a license, you receive the unlimited right to use go1984 in the selected edition on one PC at a time. Buy once – use forever.
Optional: Annual update subscription for new features, support, and services such as push alerts, mygo1984.com DDNS, and automatic renewal of Let's Encrypt SSL certificates.
If you wish to access available updates for another year after your update entitlement has expired, a license extension is required, which you can find here.
The license extension then grants you access to all available updates for your edition for another year, with unlimited usage rights.
You have probably moved go1984 to a new computer or reinstalled the operating system on your existing machine.
When you start the activation process with the new upgrade or update code, you will need to enter the old activation code of the license you wish to upgrade or update.
The port used by the go1984 web server (default HTTP: 1984, default HTTPS: 1983) must be configured in your router so that requests from the Internet are forwarded to the computer running go1984.
This router setting is often called port forwarding, port rule, NAT, or port sharing – the exact name depends on your router model.
You have probably activated the user management by mistake.
If you are already using go1984 version V4 or newer with a 10-digit activation code, you must first deactivate the license on the old PC, as described in the manual. Otherwise, activation on the new PC will not be possible.
You can then copy the complete go1984 configuration. Simply copy the folder logiware gmbh, which contains all settings in subfolders:
C:\ProgramData\logiware gmbh
If the ProgramData folder is not visible: In Windows Explorer, go to Tools → Folder Options… → View and select "Show all files and folders".
Steps:
- Install go1984 on the new PC and start it once so the folder structure is created.
- Close go1984.
- Paste the backed-up logiware gmbh folder into the path above.
This procedure also works when switching operating systems, e.g. from Windows 10 to Windows 11 or from Server 2019 to Server 2022.
Close go1984 and install the new version over the existing installation. The current version must be at least 3.5.x.x. All existing settings will be retained.
This is possible in principle, but we recommend updating the software for optimal performance.

You can display the MJPEG stream of the IPC1901A in the browser using the following URI:
subtype 0 = Main Stream
subtype 1 = Sub Stream
If the live stream image from your Reolink camera is green or shows mosaics, check the following causes and solutions:
Update the firmware to the latest version. Also check if a newer graphics card driver is available for your GPU.
If the image stays green permanently and does not return to normal after a hard reset, there may be a hardware defect. Contact the Reolink support team.
Check whether the issue occurs on LAN or WAN. Try Fluent mode with a lower bitrate. Disconnect other WiFi devices if needed and restart the camera and router.
Reduce the camera's maximum bitrate or switch to Fluent mode for live stream and playback.
Update the firmware and reset the camera.
If the camera is installed outdoors in a complex environment with many objects in the field of view, it may have difficulty decoding the image. Test the camera in a different environment, e.g. indoors.
