go1984 Webserver & IPv6

Regardless of whether you are provided with a native IPv4, a native IPv6 or "only" DS-Lite by your Internet provider - go1984 provides an optimal solution as of V12.4.1.0!

For access via the Internet, the ports used by the go1984 web server (default https port "1983" / http port "1984") must be configured in the router so that requests are forwarded via the Internet to the computer running go1984.

This applies to both IPv4 and IPv6.

Whether the Fritz!Box already uses IPv6, you can see best in the online monitor. If Internet, IPv6 is grayed out or not connected, please select the IPv4 option in go1984.

Check under Internet - Access data whether your Fritz!Box is already configured for IPv6.

Leave it at this point with the default settings.

If there is no share for the go1984 computer yet, select "Add device for share", otherwise click on edit (pencil icon).

To be able to use the go1984 clients via *.mygo1984.com DDNS also from the home network, please enter "YourName.mygo1984.com" here.
